About Me

My photo
The Artist
Born on June 27, 1974 in Pittsburgh, PA. Creating art has been my life, trained initially by my grandfather, Anton Parisson. I continued my education by self training and attending the Visual Arts Center in Portsmouth, VA. I opened two working studio/galleries in downtown Portsmouth, which gave me even more time to focus on developing my work. I paint mainly with oils, but have been known to use clippings, ink, acrylic, and spray paint. Presently, the focus of my work is addressing the oppression of minorities. I have an overwhelming urge to encourage mankind to consider a different perspective on important issues. As a woman and the mother of a bi-racial child, I find it crucial to use my talent to make a difference. My goal is to contribute to the dissolution of the barriers within our society and the promotion of harmony and truth. I am a dreamer and I refuse to give up! I wish the same for you! Check out my work and please share your opinion, I would love to hear from you! EMAIL ME! 757-773-6915
